Student Ministry Fundraiser: SERVE A FAN / HELP A STUDENT

a2 Student Ministry (a2sm) invites you to join us in our next fundraising adventure. a2′s Student Ministry will serve concessions at all ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE home football games this season to raise money for upcoming missions opportunities.

YOU can make a difference! We are looking for a2 Church family members or small groups to help us reach our mission fundraising goals!

We need volunteers to work alongside a2sm students and parents. It’s simple. Check out this years home game schedule below. Choose the game(s) you would like to work and then email your response to Darrell Garrett at dgarrett@a2church.org. We need your response ASAP!

Getting Ready for Sunday: How to Prepare for a2 Gathered on September 4

Worship matters! Worship is about responding to all that God is with all that I am.

Harold Best in his excellent book on worship, Unceasing Worship, described worship like this: “Worship is the continuous outpouring of all that I am, all that I do and all that I canever become in light of a chosen or choosing god.”

Louie Giglio defines it like this: “Worship is our response to what we value most.”

John Piper writes: “Worship is every act of the heart, mind, body and soul, which intentionally expresses the infinite worth of our great God.”

Though we worship all day, every day, this Sunday we’ll gather to worship God as the gathered church.  We’ll worship through prayer, Bible reading, teaching, fellowship and singing.

Chris will wrap up the series PLAYLIST: life, love & us with a message on The Secret That Keeps Relationships Alive: CELEBRATION.

We’ll talk about the important of joy and celebration when it comes to keeping relationships alive and vibrant.
