It’s [still] Your Move

Making [your] MOVE thru Visionary Giving: giving with a vision for changed lives. There are two primary ways people give at a2 Church:
Regular tithes / offerings. Every week many of the people who call a2 “home” honor God with His tithe and their offering (Malachi 3:10). Others honor God through “percentage giving.” They have determined to work towards tithing by honoring God with a certain percentage of their income. These resources enable a2 to fund current ministry efforts.
Greater Impact Offering. Year-end Greater Impact giving allows a2 to accomplish future ministry goals. In 2011 we set goals that included adding additional staff, office equipment and increasing ministry impact at home and abroad! Your giving enabled us to accomplish these goals! We were able to add a Director of Children’s Ministry who also serves as our Administrative Assistant, a Student Pastor, purchased important equipment for the church, and continue blessing missionaries and church planting efforts around the world!
We believe 2012 will present us with even great ministry opportunities that include expanding the seating capacity in our worship room, adding important video and audio equipment that will allow for live streaming of our weekend worship experience, and the possibility of adding space for children’s and student ministries at a2.
On Sunday, December 18, the entire a2 Church family will have an opportunity to participate in our annual Greater Impact Offering. This is the time of year where we put feet to our faith – where we show our community the love of Jesus! The idea here is that as we buy gifts for other people, we want our largest, most extravagant gift to go to Jesus. We’ll use 100% of the donations from this offering to fund the following projects:
- New chairs for our worship center. On several Sundays we’ve had to pull out additional chairs… The chairs we’ve put out are pretty scruffy… New chairs are a big need! We would like to add 120 seats to the worship room… We have a seating plan that would allow for the arrangement… Each chair comes in at around $51.00 per chair (including shipping).
- New audio and video equipment. The current sound board we are using was graciously donated to us by another church. It has really served our church well, but we would love to add a new digital board that should improve sound quality in our main worship room… We would also like to add new lighting and video equipment so that we can live stream our weekend worship experience in order to share God’s Word with a greater number of people…
- The Tarrant Elementary School projects… As you’ve probably already heard, we are resurfacing and beautifying the playground at Tarrant Elementary School… Your special gift will help to make this possible… It’s also our goal to provide a school uniform for each of the 350 students…
- Finally, we are working on acquiring additional space to house Children and Student Ministry at a2. The space next to us that currently houses H&R Block has been offered to us… We have a team of three individuals empowered by our board who are handling the negotiations on this building. Please pray that God’s purpose would be accomplished and His plan prevail… We’ll keep you informed… But as you can imagine, acquiring additional space will be a huge step of faith for our church family…
On December 18, 2011, we will receive a special Greater Impact Offering during our Sunday morning weekend worship experience. Feel free to place your offering in one of the offering envelopes provided on a weekly basis… If you’re going to be out of town on December 18 and you would like to go ahead and donate now, you can always do that online… It’s safe, secure and simple to use. Check out the Online Giving link on our website at a2church.org. A growing number of people also schedule bank drafts from their checking account —either one-time drafts or recurring drafts. This is one of the most effective ways to give.
As most of you are aware, a2 already gives at least 10% of everything God flows into our church in general offerings and tithes to world missions and / or domestic missions… We’ll continue to do this! We believe it’s important!
Please pray about participating and jumping in with us in the Greater Impact Offering 2011. God has given us a great mission, and we’re blessed to be able to join Him in reaching our community and advancing the Gospel of Jesus around the world!
Some practical and creative ways to make a year-end gift include:
1. Giving during our Sunday Worship Experience.
2. Online Giving. Utilize our online giving process.
3. Bank Drafts. Set up a recurring draft that will withdraw your contribution from your checking account automatically. This is one of the most effective ways to give!
4. Snail Mail your contribution to a2 Church. The address is provided below.
5. Gift of Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds and Other Property (Real Estate, etc.).

THANK YOU! The words hardly seem adequate when it comes to expressing our hearts to God for His incredible faithfulness and extravagant grace! They don’t even seem adequate when it comes to expressing the way we feel about you – our a2 family! We’re so blown away… Blown away by the way God demonstrates His faithfulness to us again and again… And blown away by the chance to get to do “life” with people like you.
THANK YOU! It’s not only the way we feel. It’s the title of this Sunday’s worship experience. Join us for a special worship experience focused on giving thanks to our great God for His amazing love and extravagant grace. The worship experience will include great music,an important message, Holy Communion and more.
We’ll follow it all up with a2′s third annual old fashioned Thanksgiving lunch! We’ll supply the turkey, dressing, ham and drinks; and only ask you to bring a vegetable or starch and your favorite dessert. You can’t possibly beat that deal.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion

An inspiring one hour worship experience featuring a full band, special illustrated Christmas message, Holy Communion and the “lighting of the candles” on what is considered to be one of the most sacred nights of the year… Invite your family and friends to join you at 5pm.
Childcare is provided for children age 6 weeks – age 5. Children above 5 years of age will experience worship with their parents in main room.
